RSS Retriever looks great, but it isn’t fetching thumbnail images for some posts. It fetches images when they appear within a post, but it does not fetch thumbnails for featured images. Is there a command I can add so that the feed will fetch the first image (regardless whether it’s a featured image or an image within the post)? Here’s the feed: https://jackiecraven.com/news/
    Here’s the command I used: [wp_rss_retriever url=”https://jackiecraven.com/feed” items=”10″ excerpt=”50″ read_more=”true” new_window=”false” thumbnail=”200″ cache=”7200″]

UPDATE – I’ve now resolved the problem. I installed a “Featured Image In Rss Feed” Plugin and now the featured images on my site can be retrieved by RSS Retriever … allowing me to create an attractive archive page. Thank you!

    Jackie,

Thanks so much for sharing your resolution! It saved me some time tonight, as I’m seeking the same solution for a client who is using this plugin.

Now if I can only get the image to appear first before the title ??

    Cheers,
    JD
