Few Issues With Blog

  • I am currently using Olsen Theme and love it. I have a few issues such as removing the Social Media links at the end of each post, removing the headers that show up on the pages such as printable it shows the page name twice and my blog page is listed to a custom URL so I am unable to change the static page cause I cannot locate the page in the selection.

    check this thread on removing Social Media links in the end of your posts.

    You will need to add some custom CSS to achieve this.
    Install and activate this plugin then go to “Add Custom CSS” on your dashboard and paste this 

    .page .entry-title{
  display:none;
}

    in the box.

    Thank You, that helped! I have another question. My blog page is not linked to any page on my site and there is no way for me to change the front static page. How do I fix this?

    When my blog was set up for some odd reason I was not able to select a front page it automatically made my blog page the front page. Therefore I am unable to make my posts appear on a different page and select a different static page.

    Hi there,

    Olsen light does not have any frontpage template. You can add any other page you wish as a static frontpage from Settings->Reading but it wont have any extended functionality.
