    Currently I am using WP-United. It’s working fine and allows me to control integration which is something I need. The only thing I need is better recent topics/post widgets. All I am looking for is a widget that list topics with the latest post at top of a list. It would also be awesome if I could limit the widget to only display specified categories or forums.

    If your plugin does this I would be willing to switch from WP-United to BridgeDD. If I were to switch, do you forsee any issues?

    The recent topics widget in BridgeDD lists topics in the way you described. It will display a list of topics in the forums for which the user has permissions to view. Your idea of an option to limit the display to selected forums is an excellent suggestion, and I will see if it can be added.

    Since you’re using WP-United, you might want to read this topic on my support board. To summarize, WP-United leaves behind a real mess in the phpBB and WordPress databases after it’s “removed”. In many cases these “leftovers” will not affect your installation. In some cases they will. Please consider this before “removing” WP-United and then trying out BridgeDD, or for that matter, any other WordPress?phpBB bridge.

    I hate having to say these things, but I hate even more when people install BridgeDD after WP-United is “removed”, and then saying BridgeDD doesn’t work properly — when the real problem is the junk left behind by WP-United.
