• I think I feel that overall the plugin do what it say and it’s a easy for most to use, but this also means something cant be done,

example, if you use the sharing function for Facebook your on or off, no way to adjust
or modify, its on or off, and that might be fine for most but also removed your abilitys

so in that way it a wall garden, nice but small, even if adding a bit more might not make things more complicated

Could you tell me more about this? Are you referring to the Facebook sharing button or Publicize to Facebook? I’d be happy to help you disable one or the other if needed; just let me know what you would like to disable and when.

    Not the sharing button,

its the publicizer function that looks to be kind of random
I have feeds coming from RSS, and its not the post that my system makes that go on Facebook, my post is mini version that links to news site, for users to click on, Jetpack facebook post is directly to news site, and adding some extra stuff.

Mind you it not all RSS feeds and I guess Facebook post is made from RSS feed, and not from post from my site why it do not mach my site or setup?

Having ability to control a bit more how the FB post are made is something that I think we might benefit from

You can control whether a post is sent to Facebook or not thanks to the Publicize options appearing right above the Publish button in the post editor.

If you would like to automatically exclude specific posts from being publicized (like posts coming from an RSS feed for example), you could set up you own custom rule thanks to the publicize_should_publicize_published_post filter. You can find out how to use the filter here:
    https://developer.jetpack.com/hooks/publicize_should_publicize_published_post/

    It should help!

    Thanks for taking the time,

but not related to post if a tag is set or not, it related to Jetpack post the Facebook post directly from RSS or Draft, and not from final post, this is a automatic system why getting post that not mirror the ones online on the site just do not work, and adding a tag also do not work as this add a review process not needed, if Facebook post was the same as online / site post

There are many different ways to use the publicize_should_publicize_published_post filter: the example above shows how to use it with tags, but you can implement any kind of check, depending on your site setup and the different plugins you use to create posts from an RSS feed. That’s really up to you!
