fickle, outdated pile of ugly junk

man, I’ve had it with this, after trying to blend it into an otherwise beautiful environment.
bbpress may have been .the. go-to-plugin for anyone needing a forum on their worpress-driven-presence; but that time has clearly passed. The last update months ago; unreliable functionality (which is routinely blamed on everybody else(s theme/s, plugin/s, whatevs)), crucial elements simply not working (edit topic / reply not workable? A recurring problem, just google that issue). On top of that a complete bitch to style in order to get it even anywhere near contemporary look and feel.

If I ever need a forum for anything (again),
I’ll give this dead pile a wide berth.
