• I was helping someone at a forum with the wp_nav_menu function when i realize I couldn’t vouche for having the most elegant solution to the problem. So im taking my work back underground (Ref: prodigy) and trying it here at the forums:

The problem: Having a defined menu in WordPress which shows all pages (like default in TwentyEleven) but limiting it to Depth 0 (only showing master pages) but still wanting the “fold out”

when a page with children is selected. The user wrote:

“Im having major issues with the wp_nav_menu function and I am not a shark at PHP, so can someone please help me. I can’t get it to list pages in my menu like I used to get them listed, it always shows everything. I set Depth to 0, but it is impossible to force it to show submenus when the parent it shown. Please help”.

Im declined to mark this as a solvable with CSS (due to OPs limited PHP knowledge), but are there any in-build elegant solution?

Any idea how to, without CSS, show only the menu which is currently selected, in wp_nav_menu ?
