The Pod located on this page has stopped working; the information that a user would fill out in the application used to show up in their user profile but this is no longer showing for any member. Can you please help me find a solution as soon as possible since we have a few members that need to be approved/denied and the information needed to perform this comes from the membership application/Pod.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @brittanylcd , thanks for reaching out.

It looks like you’re using an outdated version of WordPress 4.1.2 which I’d like to rule out as a possibility of causing this – please try updating and let me know if the issue persists.

It also looks like you’re using PHP 5.6 which isn’t supported in core WP or the Pods plugin as far as I know. Please also try updating this to PHP 7 or later.

In case it matters, there’s also a Pods 3.0.2 release I’m working on with a few fixes as well.

This website is on WordPress version 6.3.1. The PHP version is 7.4. All plugins have been updated as well.

Will the new Pods release be sometime this week? Also, will it directly address this issue?

My client needs to retrieve info from the membership application Pod to approve/deny new members as soon as possible. If there isn’t a fix for this immediately, is there a way to retrieve this info for each recent submission made? Please let me know if you need temporary access to the site to help with this.

The release will be tomorrow (Wednesday) at this point. There’s a little left to finish before release.

That release doesn’t address this particular issue directly but it does have a potential fix that could help.

Gotcha; at this point, we just need to be able to retrieve the information that the applicants filled out so that they can begin approving/denying applications. Is there a way to retrieve this information from the Pod?

If you’ve extended Memberships with Pods, that data will be stored in the user meta for that user. Have you checked in the database there?

Because there have not been any recent updates to this topic, we will be changing the status to resolved.
