    Hi there!

I have a form which includes some custom fields I have added to my Mailchimp audience & the data from those fields is not passed on to my Mailchimp list.

The form registers the input just fine – I have set the plugin to send me an email upon submissions & I can see the custom info there.

It just isn’t passed on to my MC audience; the columns there remain empty.

If this is because custom fields are a premium feature I’ll understand – but those fields are visible in the form builder & nothing indicates they wouldn’t work.

If not, I would deeply appreciate help fixing this problem!

    Thank you!

I can see that this topic, lone among a crowd of resolved ones, remains unaddressed – is this because my query is unclear? I would really like to know how to fix this issue.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Jesper,

Not sure why you didn’t get a reply yet. Sometimes the notifications system from the forums doesn’t work that well and then we miss a new post.

From what I understand you are using the Premium add-on, as you’ve set up an email notification?
Or is this not a MC4WP form but instead an integration with another form builder?

How extra fields are sent in is different depending on what integration you use or if you’re using a normal MC4WP form.

Can you also share a link to where I can test the form on your site?

    Thanks for letting me know.

I have the same exact issue, Contact Form 7 is being “Mailchimp-ized” by MC4WP. I can see the custom field data in Flamingo, but it doesn’t appear in Mailchimp — only the email and name.

I’ve refreshed the list in MC4WP and it sees it just fine (has for about 6 hours). I might start a new thread with more details.

Sorry, this time I missed some notifications ?? yes, we’re using Premium, and an MC4WP form, served via the shortcode.

I’ve set up a test page here: https://theviewbusinessclub.com/test-tilmeldings-side/ (everything is in Danish but I’m pretty sure you can see what’s what, otherwise let me know)

Thank you for looking into this!

    Hi Jesper,

For Premium support you may also email us at support at mc4wp.com for faster response.

Please go to MC4WP > Mailchimp, click “renew mailchimp lists” and then try again.
Also make sure that the fields are added to the form via the buttons above the form builder, not manually pasted in from another source. If it’s still not working please email us a link to this thread on our support email. Thanks!

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

    Hi,

I will just keep the dialog here, since your suggestion(s) seem to have worked, and it might help others with a similar problem: I renewed the lists, re-added all fields with the buttons, and now it works!

It’s entirely possible that we’ve had a workflow of copying forms by copy-pasting the code, I’ll rememeber not to do that ??

Thank you for helping out with this, much appreciated ??????

Perfect, glad to hear that solved it.
