field groups and rules

    A couple of questions. When I add a product field group and add set rules if product equals this and if product equals that, the option does not display. If I have no rules, it’s fine.

    Secondly, can you change the order of how the options are displayed, or is it in reverse order of how they’ve been entered – that is the field group I create first appears last on the list?

    Also, I have ticked the “When a user has filled out your fields, should they be summarized on their cart page after adding the product to their cart?” but they are not, although they do appear on checkout.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Can you send a screenshot of the rule settings and also a URL to the product page it should appear on?

    The order of field groups is determined by the published date. So by changing the published date on a field group, you can change the order.

    Within a field group, the order of fields can be changed by simply dragging/dropping them.

    Thank you for the information about published dates. That should sort my problem.

    As I went to go and screenshot I noticed that I had put AND rather than OR, so the field would not qualify to appear. My mistake. Apologies.

    The only thing that remains outstanding is the option not appearing in the cart – so for example I add 1 Side (dishes) and it is Golden Brown Chips. The chips do not appear in the cart, although they appear in the checkout. Is this how it is supposed to be?

    I looked at your link and I see you’re using a plugin to display these “menu” type of products. The plugin also shows a popup etc… This plugin does an “ajax add to cart” which can not work if our plugin does not specifically integrate with it. In short: our plugin does not integrate with the plugin you use to create those menu-alike pages.
