    Hi,

I have a newsletter form on my website. I just added the option for people to choose their language for it, but that box doesn’t show, not even in the preview. Turning off the other plugins doesn’t help.

Is there something else I can do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I clicked the link you said I saw the form you added on your homepage.

I can see the box, currently, it has only “English” & “Nederlands” as the only two languages. Is this accurate?

This is what I see: https://d.pr/i/GQIGmy

Of course, feel free to reach out to us at any time if you need further assistance or you have other questions and we’d be happy to help.

    Have a great day!

@geraltrivia Thanks for your reply. I checked and indeed it is there now. So that’s great.

However, I tried it to see if it works, I deliberately chose ‘Nederlands’ instead of ‘English’ but that is not visible for me at the backend, so I won’t be able to see which language the subscriber wants their newsletter in.

Is there something I can do to make that happen?

    Thanks!

    Hi again @tim983 ????

Thanks for reaching back to us.

but that is not visible for me at the backend, so I won’t be able to see which language the subscriber wants their newsletter in.

Mhh… let’s go one step back here. Have you created the sign-up form within MailPoet (as explained here)?

If so, are you trying to view the information by going to MailPoet > Subscribers and clicking on the test subscriber?

I am asking this because I have tried that on my test site and it is working for me.

Please keep us posted, we’ll be glad to keep troubleshooting this issue with you.

    Thanks

    @danielinhou Thanks for your reply.

I went to ‘subscribers’. Could not find test subscriber. I deleted all the subscriptions I had added and tried again, now choosing ‘Nederlands’ (Dutch) as my language.

I still cannot see this on the back-end.

I have put a print screen online, it is here:

    Hi there @tim98,

Could it be that your subscriber is in Trash?

I just tried with our test email address logins at mailpoet.com, and confirmed my subscription.

Can you please check if you see my test subscriber? If you click to edit it, you should be able to see the custom field.

If you don’t, can you please share a screenshot of what you see instead?

    Cheers!
