Field validation bypassed using Yoast SEO

    An user has reported a way of bypassing field validation when used in combination with Yoast SEO.

    We do have a group of fields, two of those fields are set as required under the validation tab. This seems to work correctly, if you try to save the post without filling those an error message appears at the top and the fields are highlighted.

    The problem comes when instead of filling those fields, you add title and metadescription within Yoast SEO tab. By doing something as simple we managed to publish the post.

    Any idea why is this happening?
