    Hello,

Plugin is great. I have encoutered a bug.

    Go to this page: https://www.jetworld.be/offerte-aanvragen/
See that you have 2 forms. The second form is also present when clicking on the button “Share my private flight”. So we have a duplicate form, 1 on the main page itself and 1 that shows via an elementor popup.

As you can see, the one that shows up via the elementor popup has duplicate fields for some odd reason. I have checked custom css, but nothing. I have deactivated all plugins to test and the issue persists.

    This is probably a bug?

    Thanks in advance!
    With kind regards

    Hi @monkeydluffy,

Sorry for the delay regarding this, seems like we happen to miss this thread.

At the moment, when I check the popup, I don’t see the form. I suppose you have removed it for now?

Possible to share the form export so that we can check further regarding the issues noticed?

Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

    Nithin

    Hello Nithin,

No problem, thank you for your response.

This is really strange, for some reason. The form will hide itself when you are not logged in. When I am logged in as an admin or a subscriber, I can see the form. When I visit the website without logging in, I cannot see the form. But the form DOM is still present. Could I give you a temporary login maybe?

    I exported the form: https://we.tl/t-3pES1uICM4

    Hi @monkeydluffy,

There are errors in the form export when checked and it doesn’t seem to get exported when tested.

Possible to re-share a new form export, so that we could check further regarding the issues noticed?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Hello,

Yes I see that these forms have errors in them while being exported. I do not know why.

Here is another one without errors: https://we.tl/t-Xv7vO1l0Xz

Please visit the link again to the website I provided you above, and press on the right button to see the popup and the form. Here you can clearly see the issues arrise. Duplicated fields + datepicker not working.

    Thanks!

    Hi @monkeydluffy,

Thanks for re-sharing the export, I tested the form in my site but I’m afraid I’m not able to replicate any such issues as stated.

I just checked your website, and it appears there isn’t any duplicated fields at the moment in the popup too:
    https://i.imgur.com/LkQNagW.png

I could notice the date picker field when clicked doesn’t open the calendar in the popup in your website, however, I’m not able to replicate such an issue when tested.

I could notice you are using the latest version of Forminator ie v 1.28.1. Could you please confirm whether you are using the latest version ie free and Pro version of Elementor?

Do you have a staging site? If yes, possible to check whether you could replicate the same if you temporarily disable all the plugins except the Forminator and Elementor plugins?

Please do let us know how that goes.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Hello Nithin,

Thank you for looking into it.

On your screenshot, I can see the issue of the duplicate field. Please have a closer look at the 2 first select fields and notice placeholders and icons right beneath the 2 fields. When looking in the DOM on the front end, we can see that these fields are duplicated, which display the placeholder and icon underneath those fields. (On other forms this is also the case with time pickers etc, just about every field that acts like a select field.)

Screenshot 1 is the exact same form but on a page. Screenshot 2 is the exact same form but on a popup without extra css.

The weird thing is that when a user logs into the website as admin or subscriber, this issue is not present anymore. Some forms also just do not show when not logged in, while they do show when you are logged in.

    Regarding your questions:

Yes, we are using all latets versions of elementor and elementor pro.
We do not have a staging website, but we already disabled all plugins twice except for forminator and elementor, but the issue still persisted.

Would you want some login credentials so you can see for yourself?

    Thank you and happy holidays!
