Fields in mailpoet form / sending newsletter

    Hello,

    i need your help on 2 points.

    1. The “Salutation” (Anrede) field
    Screen 1 (https://www.systemedia.de/download/mailpoet_screen1.JPG): In the backend you can see that there is show “Salutation”(Anrede). However, this is not displayed in the frontend. Why this is so? How i can display it also in frontend?
    Screen 2 (https://www.systemedia.de/download/mailpoet_screen2.JPG): I don’t want to see the “-“. How can I deactivate or remove this?

    2. Sender of a newsletter
    I have the “Salutation”(Anrede) field in the form where you register for the newsletter. Here it says “Mr.” or “Mrs.”
    How can I personalize the sending of the newsletter in such a way that “Mr.” in the email says “Dear Mr.” and “Ms.” says “Dear Ms.”?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    1. So if I got it right, you added a custom field but its label is not displayed in the input area. You also see “-” as an option.

    I created a similar field on my test site with these settings: https://d.pr/i/mpqTUJ.

    I can see only these two options (no “-” option because I set this to be a mandatory field) and also a label within the input text (but only before you make a selection on the front-end): https://d.pr/i/TiW0sj.

    2. When creating an email, click the MailPoet icon to paste a shortcode for your custom field and copy it to the subject: https://d.pr/i/g5UR84
