figcaption to go with figure holding the page featured image?

    I’d like to include the credit on the photo I’m using for my featured image on a page, in small print directly under the photo.

    I see some sites are using figcaption

    Is there a way of adding this? Or what’s the alternative?

  • Hi, looked into this a bit, not something that is relatively easy to do unfortunately due to the way that TwentyNineteen displays the featured image. My suggestion would be just creating a paragraph at the bottom of the post giving the credit for the featured image.
