Figure out how wordpress is sending emails

    Started getting these emails:

    From: WordPress
Sent: Tue Feb 28 08:46:59 2017
To: info
Cc: 
Subject: [KenyaBuzz Blog] New User Registration Auto forwarded by a rule

New user registration on your site KenyaBuzz Blog:

Username: Woodrowedurf

Email: <em>[Email Address Redacted]</em>

    I need to know wordpress is sending them.

    Hello Bigsmalluiverse,

    Yes, your WP site is sending those emails. It’s part of the notification options in the User Section in combination with requiring the registering of a user with each comment on your site. If you want to turn it off, the easiest way to handle it is to use a plugin. Check out this one for managing the notification: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disable-new-user-notifications/.
