    Hi,
    I’ve a problem when I sent attached files via contact form 7
    I have it configured properly in as much as, the form information sends (as does the Mail2 auto responder), but the file attachment doesn’t come through as file to download. It comes through as what looks like binary in garbled characters at the bottom of the screen.

    This is received email:

    MIME-Version: 1.0
    Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
    boundary=”b1_a65e7a0e3c608b38fbd93f3b1febd1d9″
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

    This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

    –b1_a65e7a0e3c608b38fbd93f3b1febd1d9
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

    What other plugins and theme do you use?

    (@slv96)

    I’m using the last version of Enfold theme.

    Plugins:

    • All WPML plugins
    • Woocommerce
    • Yoast SEO
    • Zopim live chat widget
    • Ajax search pro
    • Display widget
    • Insert PHP
    • PHP Code Widget
    • Regenerate Thumbnails
    • Scroll Triggered Box
    • Visual Composer – Post Layout with Carousel
    • WP Maintenance Mode
    • WPBakery Visual Composer

    If I add file attachments in mail2 they are displayed correctly in the email.

    Any news?

    Try switching to the default theme (twentyfifteen or twentysixteen) and deactivating all other plugins excluding WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and WP Maintenance Mode.

    Finally I resolved my problem!

    I’ve tried to deactivate all plugins and switch to default theme but it didn’t work.

    Then I reactivated all my plugins and my theme and I solved my problem changing the field “Additional Headers” in “Mail tab” from my translation “Rispondi a: [your-email]” to default text “Reply-to: [your-email]” and magically it worked!

    I don’t know if it is a bug or if the field Additional Headers cannot be changed.

    Thanks for the support.
