File Away and Visual Composer

  • With Visual Composer needed for Theme I do not get either the Shortcode creator (I can work without) or, more importantly, the UPLOAD file list and ability to upload files. I can select directory, add, but added files not displayed, and UPLOAD does not execute. (tested and confirmed VC is culprit.)

    Another theme not possible. I prefer this plugin to other, heavier file management plugins, but if it is not compatible, I will regretfully have to look elsewhere.

    Awaiting assistance. I stalled on another site using VC and same issue. Installed on non VC site and works beautifully. Added fileup does not add files after I browse so cannot upload.

    I get you have no control over plugins and how they play/don’t play with your plugin. If you want to leave a snarky remark to at least let me know you have read my issue, that is referable to your plain ignorance of my issue. You seem to help people but others not so much. I will continue to use your plugin to download, but will use another for uploading. Not my preferred way, but since you don’t care, I will leave appropriate review of support when I review plugin.

    I haven’t seen your issue until now. Please send me screenshots of your Error Console on your browser when attempting to upload.

    Thank you for getting back to me. There is no error that appears, just does nothing when click UPLOAD. My search before posting I did not see the other VC post, so that is helpful. I will get on them because an issue 4 months ago is still an issue after they have upgraded several times since.

    Thanks for providing me a link to the page. The reason File Up isn’t working is your autooptimize plugin is screwing with File Up’s javascript. See the bottom of the thread here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/unable-to-list-all-files/#post-8694065
