File Cat/Tags Widget

    The File Categories / Tags widget isn’t working (but Search and Popular widgets work fine.) The categories or tags display in the sidebar, but when you click on a cat/tag, you get 0 results even though files are properly tagged or associated category is assigned.

    Example: Category=Communications or Tag=CSC
    File My Test Text is assigned category Communications and tagged with CSC.

    When searching, the info appears. When looking at the backend, the info appears. However, the widget says Not found. (It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?)

    In the widget – I tried both (Taxonmy: File Tags and also File Categories). Number to show = 10.

    Settings? Ideas?

    Hi there!
    Thanks for your feedback!
    You should re-save the Permalink settings under “WordPress Settings > Permalinks” this should do it!

    I just did a testing myself and saving permalinks solved the issue.

    Also make sure you have published files/documents (post status “Published”) in any of those categories or tags.
