File Change Detection bloating my database
-
When the File Change Detection setting was on, my database bloated by 50 percent. In other words, half of my entire database size was due to the log entries in the SQL database for detecting files that changed.
I turned that feature off, but am still left with several megabytes of unwanted data from 60 days ago.
Is it safe to simply delete that part of the table? Or, rather, what is the safest way to get rid of the old log entries in the database, without destroying my entire database.
Thanks!
Otherwise, a really great plugin!
