File Change Detection often ignores exclusions

I use iThemes Security on many sites, and I often find that the File Change Detection keeps on spamming us about changes in folders that we’ve already excluded. We’ve tried entering absolute and relative path names, internal and external, but nothing seems to work. I’d like to help you guys fix this. I’m a developer – how can I help?
