    Hello

I found a file in plugins folder. The root is /wp-content/plugins/default_library_puvox.php . I deactivated and then deleted the plugin from my website.

There a lot of commented blocks of code. I don’t paste the content file becasue it has 2879 of lines of code. The code distribution or syntax is not the best but I guess it is because the plugin is relative new. Most important: I guess this plugin makes this file when plugin is deactivated. Am I wrong?

I think it is not a good practice if it is the fact of the presence of that file. Am I wrong?

    Thanks in advanced!

  • Hello.
    thanks for your thoughts.
That “Library” file is present in all out plugins – it contains the functions that we are reusing in all plugins (header, footer, settings page, links, design & style specific to our company style, functional codes, javascript), so, all of our plugins have that, and upon install, that file is being installed too. that file itself, doesnt cause or contains any threat, and is totally clean/ non-vulnerable, so you can be confident. As that file is reused by other plugins too, it is not deleted. But you can delete if you wish, would be better if so.
    Thanks
