file differenc between plug in update on wp plug in area and wp portal download

    Hi there,

    My Wordfence is reporting that there is modified file for Hide -my-wp plugin files

    Upon checking i found that there is are slight difference in some of the files which is not much impact on the plug in functions

    i am usually updating used WP admin plugin update area and the file in the wp portal pugin download area is different

    this is not the first time i noticed the issue ( some time version update date, author name etc)

    How this happening like this.Please advice

    Hi @jassimp,

    Thank you for your feedback. Indeed there are small updates made by our team in the same version of the plugin that will be included in the next version of the plugin.

    We will release a new version soon and Wordfence will update the report with the new changes.
