file display limit

    Hi, is there a way to limit the number of files that are displayed? I see that we can limit the number of files displayed per page and then we can paginate after that but what if we wanted to display only the last X number of files or files from a particular date and that’s it? Example: Today’s date and the past 3 days of uploaded files.

    Jeff, you’ve already asked this question. Plus this feature was added several versions ago. You can’t limit by specific dates, but you can limit by a specific number of files, and then by most recent. So the most recent five files, for instance. The details are on the shortcode generator and in the File Away Attributes tutorial.

    yes I know but the issue is that the page will paginate and so you can simply click to another page and view more files. I want to limit it to say 5 of the most recent files only. As files from 1 month ago or so have no bearing anymore…

    No you don’t know, Jeff. Please read the documentation. I am not talking about pagination. I added this new feature for you.
