file download manager?

Hi all,

I run a site using geodirectory.

Is there a particular file management plugin (ideally free) that is better for that environment?

I want to be able to have multiple free files which can be downloaded by anyone registered as a user on the site.

Things like pdf previews would be handy but are not essential.

Might be good to be able to limit the number of downloads a user can do per day so they don’t just spend hours downloading everything and never come back ??

I’d appreciate any advice for this especially from people who use such plugins on their own sites.
