File Editor

  • I can’t for the life of me make the option of Disable File Editor stay disabled. Its checked as disabled but I can still see the editor and it isn’t saved in the config file. I’ve made sure the file write permission are good (same for htaccess and that works fine, writes to the file and saves).

    I’ve tried manually adding it then turning on “Remove File Writing Permissions” and “Protect System Files” but it still gets removed….

  • Hi,

    Are you having issues with any other setting? Can you check for a plugin conflict? Deactivate all other plugins and see if that helps. If it does help, then reactivate the plugins one at a time to find the culprit(s), if any.
