This plug-in really saved the day for me.

My usage of the plugin:
Designed website for Client
pre-Uploaded ~100 photos to Media Library, correctly captioned, etc
Client clicks ‘Create New Post’,
browses to pre-uploaded images,
selects check box next to image,
and then ‘Insert Gallery’

WordPress was not able to reuse images like that, until this plug-in.

Looked great when I tried it (especially like the unattach feature) and would very much like to use it, but seems to conflict with my theme’s slider and also made my images disappear from pages and posts. Was looking for some way to be more efficient with my images and this seems like a really good call – just not with my theme.

merontofino: Could you tell me if the theme in question is a custom one or is it available for download somewhere? I’d be more than happy to make my plugin compatible with your slider.

Also, if my plugin has made some of your images disappear from posts and pages, could you explain that a bit further? I would really appreciate that, I certainly do not want that to happen to anyone.

Did the native media gallery in wp3 add any of this functionality? I’m just amazed that this plugin is necessary and wanted to make sure I’m not missing something? Is WP really this backward natively? It’s awful.
