    I have noticed that whenever this plugin is activated, within 30 minutes 2 of the files are modified from the original downloaded from www.ads-software.com (warnings generated by my Wordfence scans).

    Is this behavior by design?

    I hope you were using our plugin Website File Changes Monitor to spot these file changes.

    Yes, this is by design. Previously, the activity log event IDs were declared in the MainWP extension. Because of this, whenever we added new events to the WP Activity Log plugin we had to release an update of this extension just to update the event IDs.

    Now, the MainWP extension connects to the WP Activity Log install on one of the child sites and syncs the list of event IDs from it. With this solution we do not need to release an update of the extension whenever we add new activity log event IDs in the main plugin.
