    during export from original site using firefox a large .zip file gets dumped in the download folder, each time its a DIFFERENT size and every time the zip file is broken and corrupt and can not be opened.

    it does not show percentage when exporting, but during import at 99% i get the error message above.

    i have disabled malwarebytes, only have normal win7 64 home firewall setup using tinywall.

    really looking forward to using this plugin since it can migrate my plugins as well!

    but will it work?

    Hi lvisage,

    Can you try using a different browser that doesn’t have any browser addons, perhaps Google Chrome in incognito mode?

    Let me know the result.

    no luck with opera, does not have addons.
    installing chrome, will try again.

    tried three times with two new browsers no add-ons, 35 mb, 40 mb, 396 mb all corrupted.

    Any ideas to try will be appreciated,
    I can transfer any files manually via ftp.

    my concern is changing all links to new domain plus database.

    Hello – I am having a similar problem. I exported and downloaded a zip file with no problem (I used IE). But when I tried to import the file, the plugin displayed the message: “File is not compatible with “All In One WP Migration” plugin! Please verify your archive file.” I tried to rename the zip file with .zip extension, but that did not work. I also repeated the export / import and got the same error (as with Ivisage, the two zip files were different sizes). Both times, I exported everything except spam comments.

    Any help is much appreciated… Thanks

    Update – to checkout the exported zip file, I tried to open it in WinZip and got a message, “Cannot open file, it does not appear to be a valid archive.”

    Any suggestions on how to successfully export and import are much appreciated. Thanks

    Could you use the report a problem link inside the plugin and submit the form?
    It will let us see if there are any errors happening in the plugin while you export.

    I had similar problem. I have changed to a different WIFI network and it downloaded the whole file.
