• Hi everyone!

I’m having this trouble for some months and i haven’t no clue of what is going on.

Randomly the file ‘includes/mail.php’ is disappearing of my hosting and the web is showing the error of this missing file.

My hosting provider tells me that this movement is not registered at the hosting logs. We tried to update every single plugin and wordpress to de last version but it’s happening again. The hosting provider points that something is wrong with this plugin.

If someone was having this problem and got it solved or if have any clue for me about it, would be very helpfull.

    Thanks!

  • This also happened (multiple times) on a site I am working on. The site is running on a windows server, maybe that is an issue?

This is happening to us – multiple times too.

We’re running a Ubuntu / Nginx server, so not just Windows related.

Does your mail queue look clean?

This exact thing has been happening to me on HostGator across multiple sites. Support suggested malware, but I highly doubt that.

The only things these have in common (besides the hosting account) are:

    CherryPlugin/Framework
    MotoPress Content Editor

I’m having the same issue with iPage. Has anyone figured out a solution to this?

I’m having this happen too. In my case, the client wasn’t updating their site regularly, so someone HAD gotten some javascript injections on there – but it SEEMS to be clean now. Yet the file keeps vanishing.

yes getting the same issue here on a windows server running IIS 7.

I have updated WordPress and plugins. Could it be malware?

if anyone has any suggestions that would be great!
