File Monitor scan not completing

  • I started a File Monitor/Ownerships and Permissions scan (on the Files tab) yesterday, about 1500 EST. It is now about 0930 the next day, and there is no sign that the scan has completed.

    1) How long should I expect this scan to take before completion?

    2) Is there a way to check on its progress? When it started, the tab showed a message ‘XXXX jobs remaining’ (or words to that effect). Now I see nothing but the spinner in the button.

    Please advise ASAP.
