File Not Found Error

    Hi Folks,
    I received two identical error messages which relate to your plugin, and which I have not seen before.
    Can you provide any clue as how to fix this error?
    The cache directory it refers to contains multiple footer sets and one header set of 6 files, all dated today. Neither the footer not the header has been modified today by admin.

    I would suggest googling that error first, as it’s a server configuration and nothing to do with the plugin itself:

    Basically, some user with the IP 102.250.0.88 tried to use an OPTIONS header (instead of GET) to download the static files. Probably a bot or hacker looking for some sort of exploit.

    Your server is configured to block OPTIONS requests, so that’s why it shows on the logs. OPTIONS should be blocked by default, as there is no need for that on a normal website. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Methods/OPTIONS

    Thank you.
    Unfortunately there is nothing unique there to Google – and other than a Google suggestions to set the ‘allowmethods’ to ‘critical’ so low level issues are not logged, there was nothing of value I could find.
    I shall keep monitoring this and get back to you if there are repeats.
