    Hi

    We do i Themes security suggest to use file permission 444 instead of 644 for .htaccess and wp-config.php?

    Wouldn’t 444 not be a huge security issue?

    444 is much stricter than 644
    444 – read only
    with 644 – the owner may read and write a file and while all others can only read the file

    but remember if someone can break into your site he can delete it and add a new one

    But can I still den enter my wordpress site as before?

    So is there no restriction for me to enter the wordpress admin area?

    Sorry I am not really into this things.
