File permissions for wp-content folder

  • I know this question has been asked before but I couldn’t seem to get a proper answer for it.

    At the moment when I want to install a plugin Automatically I have to change the “wp-content” file permissions to 777. Is there anyway I can set this up so I don’t have to keep changing it from 755 to 777 constantly whenever I want to install a plugin?

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks for reading.
