File Picker Feature Not Working

    Hi there, thank you so much for this wonderful plugin.

    I have attempted to add the ‘File Picker’ field in the ‘Additional’ checkout fields, and was able to upload files when testing with a mock-checkout. Then, I encountered the following problems:

    (1) Uploaded files cannot be removed, the page freezes on a loading icon
    (2) Uploaded photos cannot be edited, the page also freezes on a loading icon
    (3) In the order receipt page (next page after submitting form), the ‘File’ header is supposed to show as ‘Attach Files (???????)’ but instead shows as ‘2Attach Files (???????)’
    (4) The addition of the File Picker to the form messes up the layout of the order receipt page

    Please do follow the page link (you’ll have to add a random product to the quote and follow the checkout steps – i.e. go to random product page e.g. https://www.tiannam.com/product/other/acetic-acid/ –> select options –> add to quote –> redirect to cart/quote –> press proceed –> arrive at page with WCM form) to see issues #1-4.

    Please advise on how to solve this. Thank you so much!

    #1 #2 is with regard to the ‘upload files’ – it uploads fine, but unable to edit photo or remove file

    #3 #4 is with regard to the layout of the subsequent page – in #3, the “Your request has been successfully…” and “Order#/date/type” sections normally show up at the same margin as the rest of the page (i.e. doesn’t push all the way to the left and at the top) – in #4, the number ‘2’ appears out of nowhere before the ‘Attach Files’ text – both issues (#3 #4) goes away if the file upload function is disabled and removed from WCM

    we’re rebuilding the entire upload function

    edit file options will be removed

    will trigger this update next week

    please stay tuned and let us know once we update if this fix the issues

    I updated to the latest version of the plugin.

    (1)-(4) works well, no problems now

    However, 2 new minor issues came up:

    (5) looks like only one file can be uploaded per order (i was able to attach multiple files from the file picker, but only the latest attached file gets uploaded into ‘media’)

    (6) there are no more file upload notification emails + the uploaded file doesn’t seem to be linked to the order – i.e. when looking at order details in woocommerce, there is no link to the media file

    @quadlayers Still awaiting your response regarding the two issues above

    to recap:

    issue #5 = file picker only uploads one file per order (if multiple files are attached, only the last file gets uploaded and added to media)

    issue #6 = usually any new file upload will trigger a ‘file upload notification’ email, and show up as an attached file to the woocommerce order – this no longer happens

    please test update 4.4.4
    make sure you clean your site caches and browser ccaches including any cdn or css js cache

    Thank you for the fix.

    issue #5 is solved – multiple files can now be uploaded
    issue #6 is solved – although there’s no notification email, it’s not needed as the files now show up as attachments within the woocommerce order page
