• We have updated several documents that were on several pages. The new files are on the server (confirmed via FTP) and we see them in the media library. However, the hardlinks in the WP pages were not updated.

There is no server or WP caching plugins. We have confirmed on several computers.

When we create a new WP test page and upload a test file and then replace it, it works just fine. We also tested with the same link on two pages and it works fine.

This plugin worked fine in the past on this site. The only thing that has changed is upgrading to WP 5.0.

    Hi,
thanks for using EMR and for letting us know about this issue.

Could you please first of all downgrade EMR plugin and let me know if the issue persists? If not, after downgrading the plugin, could you please try to use again the latest plugin version and then check again whether the issue can be reproduced?

I’d appreciate your follow-up on this,
    Alex

I downgraded to Version 3.2.6 and the issue occurred again today.

We were replacing one Word doc with a PDF on one WordPress page.

@petebocken thank you for your follow-up on this, could you please confirm that you also tried the both replacement options and it didn’t work?

No, we are only using the “Replace the file, use new file name and update all links” because we are replacing Word documents with PDFs.
