File repository plugin?

  • Hello all,

    I’ve been hunting for a plugin that could handle file downloads. I haven’t been able to find anything remotely near what I need ??

    Ideally, this is what I need:

    – Categories (hook in to regular WP cats ideal)
    – Short file description
    – Long file description
    – Agree to license before download
    – File size
    – File type
    – File author (hook in to WP users)

    Does anyone have any idea of a plugin that currently does that? A commercial product(reasonable price) would be acceptable, though only as a last resort.

    I hate to bump things, but… Anyone has any idea?

    I don’t know of any plugin that would do all that stuff. (but didn’t want to remove your topic from the un-answered queue, hoping somebody can jump in)

    As for commercial scripts… you’ll have to do the search for yourself.

    I’ve searched and searched, and can’t find a thing. That’s why I was saying I’m even willing to be pointed to a commercial plugin <shrug> I am not asking for commercial developers to say “me me me”, just wondering if anyone has found something, somewhere. But quite honestly, I suspect that it simply doesn’t exist. No worries.
