Thank you for the question and for the link to WP Document Revisions, which looks quite powerful.

I am not sure I understand your question. If you can give me more details on what you mean by “file revision on published pages” or “file revision” I can be more helpful.

Thanks for any additional information you can give.

It would be perfect, if these two plugins were merged.

In my page I have a whole bunch of files (as mentioned above) and I have a requirement that people who visit this site can see which documents were revisioned last. WP Document Revision has a widget, so people can see “Recently revised documents” section below menu. I want to organize files so I can find them faster, as the number of files increases on a daily basis. With “file revision on published pages” I meant, if it’s possible to have section with file revision at the end of a page, where file appears. If this cannot be done, I would be very grateful, if it’s possible to have a widget, like in WP Document Revision.

Another way of saying what I mean with “file revision on published pages”: like with pages, where you can set “Show revisions below” (plugin WP Revisions Request) and all revisions are listed at the end of a page, I would like to have something similar with files other than images (I have no need for revisioning images).

I hope this is more clear. Can you help, please?

Thanks you for taking the time to post additional details on your ideas and questions. I think I understand what you have in mind.

I have downloaded and looked through the WP Document Revisions source code. It’s very well done, but I do not see a practical way to integrate it with Media Library Assistant. WP Document Revisions uses attachments in a unique way to implement its revision logic.

I regret that any general solution to a revisions capability would take more effort than I can afford to give it. Thank you for your understanding and for your interest in Media Library Assistant.
