file robots.txt not found

    Dear support,

    I have a problem with the file robots.txt
    I have a site https://www.werkaanstress.nl where I use Yoast for SEO.
    I created campagnes in Google Ads, but they tell me that they cannot find the site. Searching on the internet I found out that the robots.txt file needs to admit that Google Ads may crawl the site.
    When I type https://www.werkaanstress.nl/robots.txt I see a file.
    When I search for the file I cannot find it.
    In your help texts you tell me that WordPress has blocked editing this file.
    I consulted my hosting party. They told me to create/upload the file with the right information into my map ‘public_html’ and so I did.
    Then I thought to check the link again: https://www.werkaanstress.nl/robots.txt but there is still the same text as before I tried to change it. I have also tried the robots.txt Tester Tool, but this comes up with other error ‘blocked because other 4xx-problem’.

    So, now I am lost. I really do not know where to look or where to change anything. Google Ads is still not able to read the site. Could you please help me a little more, so I can fix it all?
