Can you try excluding that folder in the scan settings to see if this happens for any other folders/files?
Enter the following in the “Files/Directories To Ignore” box of the Scanner menu:

    wordpress-seo/admin/pages

Then save your settings and click the “Perform Scan Now” button to do another manual scan.

No, I’m sorry. I typed in a hurry. I changed chmod and that fixed it. But each time I fix, another shows up. I had listened to someone who posted to chmod all folders to 705 (if I remember right) and 440 for files Broke 8 sites by reading that post. I still haven’t fixed all sites. ;(

When I get to my Windows laptop later in the afternoon, I will fix another site. Too much work from iPad or iPhone, doing one file at a time.

Every time I run it, a new folder shows up. I change chmod and run it, repeat. I found out how to mass change chmod in my FTP program on iPad so last night I think I got them all. About to run it…

    Argh.

Nonce check failed for manual file change detection scan operation!

But the other error is gone. How do I pass nonce check?
