    Greetings!

I’ve moved nicholasthompsonartworks.com to a different host. The AIOWPS plugin is current.

When I attempt to run a file scan, I get a 500 error. Here is the log:

    Scan Error

What is the actual issue here so that I can address it?

    Thanks!

    Jon

Hi Jon it is very hard to see the issue in the image you provided above.

Because you moved the site to a different host try the following. Deactivate and delete the plugin. Then install a fresh new copy. Then carry out another scan and report back.

    Thank you

If you right-click->View Image (or similar), you should be able to see it just fine… ??

At any rate, I did so and same result. Note that the site went down until I uploaded a new version of the plugin.

Whilst the scan ran, there were some other errors generated in the log and I’m investigating those and will report back – possibility something other than the plugin caused the fault…

    OK – no go.

I put the plugin in “debug mode,” however, re-running the scan didn’t generate any debugging information… Is that normal?

Hi, thank you for the extra information.

Tell me did the scan run well in the old server? If it did what is the difference between the old and new server specs?

    Thread Starter jmunsonii

    (@jmunsonii)

The scan ran fine on the old server, and another client who’s installation is with the same service is having no issues. I don’t know the spec difference here as I don’t have access to the old server information any more to compare…

I’m wondering if there is some sort of permission discrepancy…

That would be a good idea to check your file permissions in your server.

    (@jmunsonii)

I took a look at the permissions – they seem to be correct…

I completely removed the plugin, deleted the tables in the database, reinstalled and reconfigured. Still the same error as above… :/

    However, here is further information:

I fixed the 403 problems – I had left some “stuff” behind when I previously removed the plugin which I got rid of and reinstalled the plugin.

After a completely clean install, I still get the read data timeout error.

You will have to contact your host about this issue. If this plugin was working well in your previous host then that confirms that this feature works. I have tested this feature on my testing site without a problem.

OK, I have spoken to my host.

This is beginning to turn into a finger-pointing battle, and that’s got to be avoided.

Is there any way to have that segment of the plugin report something useful as it operates so we can see where it dies? Would be nice to have some sort of clue as to why the timeout is occurring.

Or, some way of knowing how this operates/verify settings so that I can ensure what it needs to do will function properly?

I have no problems reading PHP files.

    Thanks!
