File Size too large

1. Instant Images resizes/scales the original upload to the max width/height on upload. If it’s not resizing to the constraint dimensions than it may be an issue on the server. After upload, the plugin should create all the size of images set in your theme.

2. File size and image optimization is not something Instant Images plugin handles. If you want to reduce the file size I would recommend Smush or ewww Image Optimizer.
