file timestamps not preserved when installing plugins

  • When installing plugins via the “Install Plugins” page, the timestamp of the installed files is always reset to current time. Other than manually installing plugins, is there some way I can preserve the original file timestamps?

  • Manually would be the way to go. And guess you will want to manually upgrade those plugins in the future also.
