File upload button doesn’t work on mobile when page is opened from Facebook

    I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this, but I hope somebody could give me some useful advice.

    I have a cf7 form with attachment button that doesn’t react for clicking on it on mobile if the page was opened from Facebook. On desktop it works perfectly, it doesn’t matter how I open the page. On mobile it only works if I type or copy the url directly into the browser, but if open the page by clicking on a link in Facebook (and also in Messenger), the attachment button doesn’t do anything when clicking on it.

    Maybe it would seem a tiny problem, but I advertise on Facebook, so most of my visitors are arriving from there and they cannot attach file as this problem exists.

    I’m hopefully looking forward any advice.

  • This could be due to a JavaScript conflict with your WP theme or one of the other plugins you are using.

    This can be a problem only on mobile while fine on desktop.

    Switch temporarily (nothing will be lost when you switch back) to a WP default theme & disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7 to see if the problem goes away.

    If it does you can switch back to your theme & re-activate each plugin one by one to see when the problem occurs.
