• Hi,

I’m trying to enable the file upload with no success. In the Data tab I’ve created the field with the corresponding attribute (File Upload) then in the shortcode form I’ve checked the appropriate check box. Made a notification message with [file_upload]. Then I go the frontend to the page with the form containing the Upload Field I see the Browse file button put if I click on it, the form is sent with the message that the message has been sent. Can’t choose a file the message is sent.

Would like to use that option !

Using Version wp-crm 1.0.6 I tried to update to the new version 1.1.0 but it is messing up things went back to 1.0.6

    Hello.

There is a little bit another logic for that field. It can be saved in a user’s profile, but there is no ability to send that file as an attachment in notifications.

Can you also clarify about the latest version, what’s wrong with your site after the update.

Let me know if you have more questions.

    Regards.

    Thank you for the information,

Please can you explain the logic for that field and how to use it properly. Step by step if you can.

For the latest version it is causing a conflict with my contact form 7 the recaptcha no longer working and can’t send with that anymore. The changing the order of fields doesn’t work on the actual form. In the Shortcode Form tab when I add a row the right pane for the fields is empty. Then when I check the box for the new form in the Notification tab and save I go back to Shortcode Forms the new form right pane is showing part of the fields in other words fields are missing and so on. I’ve tested it on a fresh wordpress installation with no other plugin activated and I still get those problems. I don’t know if it is intended but Method is not there anymore (Post or Get form request method) instead a see a redirect to :

    Thank you !

    1) The explanation for File Upload Field:
You are adding that field to your form. The user can upload the file and it is storing on your site. In user’s profile, you will see a link to that file as value for file upload attribute. If you want to use that field in the notification, there also will be a link to that file on your site.

    2) The new version of wp-crm contain captcha, probably you can use it?

The changing the order of fields doesn’t work on the actual form

    – Does that work before? It seems it was always like that.

I don’t know if it is intended but Method is not there anymore

Yes, now it always uses POST method.

Thank you for your other notes, we will try to fix that as soon as possible.

    Hi Maria,

    1) Thank you for the explanation for the file upload put the problem is that I can’t even upload a file. When I click on the browse file it is not working. No browser window is opening, instead I get the message that my message was sent and that happens in both wp-crm 1.0.6 and 1.1.0

    2) Thank you I’m aware that the new version has a captcha put the fact is that the orders of the fields can’t be changed and I can’t output a decent contact form. I’ve just check in both version and the order changing is not showing on either. So I have to stick with contact form 7 put there a conflict with wp-crm that why I went back to the wp-crm 1.0.6.

    cheers

    1) I have tested and that should work on 1.1.0. Did you try to disable third party plugins to investigate the issue? You can send me the link to your form, I will also check.

    2) Thank you for your attention for those issues. We have added them to our roadmap of fixes for next release.

    Regards.

    1) That is also working for me when a user logged in. Can you try to disable third party plugins and check that one more time.

    Thanks.

    Hi Maria,
The only plugin activated is wp-crm. I made a few more tests and what I’m getting is the first time when I create a new client the file uploads is working ok. Then he disconnect. But when he reconnects and clic on the file browser the message is sent instead of being able to choose a file.

this is a temporary url for testing purpose. https://livraisonjaak.com/dev_llvraison_jaak/formulaire-contact/

You mean logged out by disconnect? How can I log in on that site then?

    Thread Starter Madela

    (@madela)

Yes disconnect. I’ve set up for the contact form so the user is granted to see his profil. So just complete the form and then log in. https://livraisonjaak.com/dev_llvraison_jaak/wp-login.php

    Hello.

I have checked several times on your site with user maria and was able to click on the browse button when logged in and when not and then again when not logged in. Which browser do you use? The only thing is when I logged in I can’t download files to your site, but there might be some settings set up. Will need to check directly. That role does not allow me to see wp-crm settings or check installed plugins. You can contact us directly with appropriate login details, I will check that on your site directly.

    Regards.
