File uploads publishing to blog feed

    Hello, I updated Download Manager as well as the Tiny MCE button about 2 days ago. On the previous version I could upload files and insert them into blog posts. My blog feed would only update when I published an actual blog post.

    Now when I add a new file to Download Manager, the files are being published to my blog feed, even those inserted into a scheduled post that has not been published yet.

    Help please. Thanks in advance.

    As many users requested, in the last update, we included downloads with main RSS feed. However, now I see, some others don’t want it :). So, now I’ve added an option on settings page to enable/disable it. It will available with the next update.

    Ok great thanks! In the meantime, is there a way to revert back to the old version?

    Yes, please open file /wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.Apply.php
    Find and remove add_action('request', array($this, 'rssFeed')); ( line # 29 )
