I go to create an export “as file” and it completes but when I click download Chrome says “file wasn’t available on site”

I went into the file manager via my host (Siteground) and there are no files in the ai1wm-backups folder.

I see a lot of people having this issue over the last couple of years but this is the first time out of 100s of sites where I have had this.

    What’s the issue?

It sounds like the issue you’re encountering is related to the backup files not being properly saved or created in the ai1wm-backups directory, despite the export process completing. This could be due to a few different factors:

    1. Permissions Issues: Ensure that the permissions for the ai1wm-backups directory allow for writing files. Incorrect permissions can prevent the plugin from saving the backup files.

    2. Server Configuration: Since you are using Siteground, there may be specific server settings that are preventing the files from being written or retained. This could include security settings or automatic cleanup processes that affect the backup directory.

    3. Plugin Conflicts: Conflicts with other plugins might interfere with the file creation process. Try deactivating other plugins temporarily to test if the issue persists.

    4. Temporary File Handling: Ensure that your hosting configuration correctly handles and retains temporary files during the export process. Some hosting environments may have aggressive cleanup routines that remove these files prematurely.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, I recommend contacting Siteground’s support to investigate further, as they can provide server logs and additional insights that might pinpoint the exact cause.

I fixed it by deleting the All in One Migration plugin and the extended plugin and installing them both again.

My guess is one of them became corrupted.
