• Hi there,

we are using your plugin on a intranet page for mirroring network drives.
We got a problem with displaying files with special characters like §

Is there a way to solve this issue (hook, filter, …) without renaming the file?

    Greetings, Nico

Just tested and I am able to view and download and rename files with the § character in it the filename. What type of server are you on and what version of File Away are you using?

    Hi,

    thanks for the fast replying.
    This is our system:
    Server Ubuntu 14.04.6 LTS
    Webserver : Apache/2.4.39
    File Away Version 3.9.9.0.1

How did you type/enter that character in the filename to begin with? Could you try to copy the character from this page to your clipboard, then paste it into your filename, replacing the original character with the pasted character, then tell me if it shows up in File Away?

    Hey,
the character on the site looks like this:
    Image of the character.
Pasting this character in the filename doesn’t work.

Stuck here. That character works fine for me in all my tests, on both windows and linux servers. Until I can duplicate the problem it will be very difficult to find a solution, especially considering your server is an intranet.
