File(s) are being modified in public/Js_cache folder.
-
On one of the websites where I use All-in-One Event Calendar, WordFence Scan reports that one or more files have been changed from the distribution version. For example:
Filename: wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/public/js_cache/calendar.js
File Type: Plugin
Issue First Detected: 1 hour ago.
Severity: Warning
Status NewThis file belongs to plugin “All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly” version “2.5.21” and has been modified from the file that is distributed by www.ads-software.com for this version.
——————-Permissions for the js_cache folder are set to 755.
The “calendar.js” file when first installed has zero bytes but after being modified by some unknown source it contains 437.58 KB. If I replace the changed file with the original one, it gets modified again within a few hours. Can you explain how and why this is happening and whether I should be concerned about it or not?
Thank you.
