Files left on database after uninstall

I searched my database and deleted 80 tables that inlude the word “amelia”. It is incredible. It is also a shame that it is not fully woocommerce compatible, and I learnt that after installing and trying it.

The tables were preserved in the database because people tend to go through a lot of trouble setting everything up, and if they accidentally delete the plugin, they will lose all their data, and would have to go through it all over again.

We have included the option to delete all Amelia’s tables from the database in the latest update, so now when you activate the license, you can select an option to delete all tables from the database when you delete the plugin from your Plugins page.

Also, we’ll be working on a better WooCommerce integration in the future.

Please accept our apologies for the late response.

If you’re not using the plugin anymore, and you have wp_amelia_ database tables left, you can manually delete them using phpMyAdmin. Just make sure to disable the check-box “Enable foreign key checks”. If you leave that check-box enabled, you won’t be able to delete the tables, because the database won’t allow it.

Which aspects of the plugin left you so disappointed in the end? We appreciate any feedback, positive or negative.

I think you should better have an uninstall option for free version.

Amelia configuration in wp_user_roles option on wp_options table should be also be updated
