Files not uploading, no error

  • Hi,

    I’ve had this plugin working for some time but recently we’re not able to upload any files.
    It won′t get an error message, and there’s nothing written in the database related to media upload.

    I’ve disabled all plugins and enabled them one by one but the result is the same.

    Any ideas on where to start looking?

    Sorry, I am not sure how to help you. I am testing plugin from time to time, to update for WordPress and bbPress changes, but I can’t find any issues, plugin works fine. Without any logged errors or some conflict information, I am not sure what I can do.

    Files are not added to the media library.
    There are missing rows in the postmeta table regarding the uploaded files when I compare with successful postings. See below

    Have you tried to test for conflicts by disabling all other plugins and using default WP theme?

    Hi,

    Yes, I’ve tried disabling the plugins and enabling them again one after another.
    It’s a standard theme we’re using.

    Is there any way I can troubleshoot the plugin to have it upload the files or that it writes correctly to the database?

    My plugin hooks into WordPress to upload files, and connect them to the topics/replies. I can’t reproduce the problem, and there are a lot of users of this plugin, no one else reported similar issues. Without the in-depth debugging, I can’t help you.
